"do you have anything you can't go a day without?
Marc: andy.
Andy: aw, babe
"Despite his well-earned reputation for arrogance, it's impossible not to like Andy Sutcliffe once you've met him. He works his way through half a pack of cigarettes as we talk on his patio (he 'hates people who smoke indoors'), and before we can even get to the subject of the album, he asks me what I know about Foucault." - NME, 2016
"no, i don't feel guilty about not passing along messages to my brother or andy or any of the band. it's lovely they've fans who care so much about them, but their private lives are separate. i don't think it's fair for people who claim to love them to harass their families. it's creepy."
a new (kinda) old pic of andy and his cousin in johannesburg on sept 12th. sometimes i wonder if this family realizes how beautiful it is?
unpopular opinion but i feel like mfc is going to be the worst paper sea album? i know they've talked about doing their own production for this one but i think their lack of outside influence/genuine criticisms are hella showing. they seem to be really in their own heads about their cultural significance and purpose, their egos being fueled by each other and doug. the lack of an outside voice chiming in here and there could be a damaging thing in the end, but we'll see.
"I've always been called a tactile person. My parents ... not as much, that was never really their thing, but I've got this like innate need to be touched, which is probably what's always got me into trouble -- trying to find that where I shouldn't."
somebodyelse: we should've known that parrcliffe (or whatever their couple name was) wasn't going to last the moment he looked annoyed that his girlfriend touched him. he was never like that with harlowe. i feel like they're always at least holding hands?
