1. get your good quality image and crop/resize<br>
2. adjustment layer: curves @ input 100 & output 123 ??? apparently....<br>
3. adjustment layer: brightness/contrast both at +10 (adjust either to 0 if it's already bright/heavily contrasted)<br>
3. adjustment layer: selective color (depending on the person's skin tone, i typically play with reds, yellows, and whites) set the neutrals: black to -10<br>
4. merge!<br>
~ i use a photoshop action here so this is roughly what happens in the automation process ~<br>
5. duplicate layer: set to sharpen<br>
6. duplicate layer: set to wayne gaussian blur 4.0 like a madman & blending change to darken & set transparency to 30% to regain social capital<br>
7. adjustment layer: levels -- for these icons i typically set her to 30 / 1.20 / 240 as it gives a contrasted, shadowed look. but this will be much like the selective color layer where it kinda depends on the person's skin tone and what you've already done previously.<br>
