what do you get when a geologist and a lawyer fall in love? lou borseth! unfortunately her parents broke up over an argument about christmas decor in 2003. she survived being shuttled between their homes in dallas but she dreamed about moving to the east coast.
obsessing over her grades as a teenager worked out. lou ended up at brown university, where she earned a ba in modern culture and media. she never thought she'd want to leave new england but she felt a little lost after graduating and something drew her back to... texas? since then, she's been freelance writing about music, tv and film but she's most thrilled by the crosswords she's created being featured in newspapers and magazines. getting a puzzle in the new york times is the fantasy but she's happy with a cool career and nerdy hobby.
