20 important things we learned about Andy Sutcliffe from his time on the Radio 1 Weekend Breakfast Show

Fresh off his Disney holiday, Andy Sutcliffe of Paper Sea and his near-perfect bed hair joined Matt and Mollie today from Orlando, Florida to co-host a very special Radio 1 Weekend Breakfast Show.

He was very good and more importantly, gave us an insight to his weird and wonderful brain.

Here's 25 essential facts we learned about one of our favourite men in pop.

1.He skipped watching the AMAs because he "doesn't care" about awards shows, Paper Sea's grammy nod included.

2. But he did catch ex-girlfriend Nicola Parr's performance, and his reaction was as polite as could be expected. "She seemed a bit nervious."

3. He's "flattered" by the idea of songs being written about him. "It's a nice change from creepy older men writing about my wife."

4.He takes his commitment to environmentalism seriously, and on their upcoming Notes tour, Paper Sea will travel by electric buses built by Chinese company BYD.

5. His signature scent is a secret. "Harlowe told me I smell like old leaves," he says.

6. Every time he leaves his phone with his bandmates, they download Grindr and send messages to strangers.

7. He's still just as critial of other popular artists as ever, but is looking to expand his work as a producer. "Tell DaBaby to call when he's ready to stop reclycing the same flow over similar beats."

8. He and Harlowe go to couple's therapy and part of that process has led to them writing a few songs together.

9. He's jealous of the fact that Ed Sheeran got to work with Stormzy before he did.

10. His favourite Snapchat filter is "the one with the teeth".

11. The question he misses most from old interviews is whether or not Paper Sea's "Settle Down" is about bandmate and best friend Marc Hindley. But he thinks it still feels "a bit weird" to be sober doing them, or to perform sober.

12. He was surprised by how little attention his family got whilst at Disney and that it shows how unfamous he is in America.

13. And when they do now, it's always in a polite way. "You get older and nobody tries to [redacted] you in the toilets anymore. But I was never a pulling machine anyway," he says of his chat-up techniques (an obvious lie).

14. He was "gutted" when he heard that Gary Rhodes passed earlier this week, citing him as a "massive culinary inspiration".

15. He considered "eating Mick Hucknall's back-hair" to improve his musical ability.

16. He doesn't wear socks in bed because he's "not mental".

17. When he and his wife get bored, they read through YouTube comments on his videos. One of his recent favourites is one from People: "Andy looks like that vulturi dude from twilight".

18. He got bored of writing a book. "I might write a book, but not yet", he says.

19. He's cancelling the rest of his US tour dates and restructuring his Notes tour for mental health reasons. "It's a complicated decision, but we all discussed it and it's what's best for the band as a whole. We really don't want to let our fans down by not performing, but we're also at a point in which we don't want to let them down by not being at our best. And it feels irresponsible not to tell everyone why it's changed, because it presents this idea that your mental health isn't valuable, when it is. It's the foundation of everything you've got."

20. But he also has plans in store for fans affected by the changes. "We knew it would be inconvenient, of course, but everybody gets something. It's win-win, honestly."

Andy, you're welcome back any time - if you can cope with the early start.
